Wisteria is about a year old now

Update: After two weeks in a tiny home with her new foster family, Wisteria is winding around our feet, rubbing us with her face for attention, looking up at us with her enormous round eyes. She rewards our patience and gentleness with purrs, trust, and affection. Our cat, Pumpkin, is her very best friend. They take turns grooming and then zoom around the house, chasing their toys and each other. Because of this, we would be ecstatic if she had a cat companion to play with in her new home.

She came in as a feral kitten and has taken awhile to socialize.  She hides when visited by people so it's been near impossible for anyone to meet her.  It's taken days for her to warm up to a new person or environment.?  She's just started in a new foster home and seems to be warming up to them.  She wants love and affection from people... she's just not quite ready to stop being scared.  She would be a fantastic companion for another cat!

?Since she's easily scared it would be best if there were no small children in her home... older calm children (over 10) would probably be fine if they're patient with her.

If you're up for a challenge and would like to meet her please fill out an application at www.AnimalRescueOfTheRockies.org

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
